Fragranced candle in ‘Winter Garden’ by Crabtree & Evelyn. I’ve been into scented candles lately, and I love the scent of this one! When I first took a whiff of both winter garden and noel, I thought I liked noel better; however, after smelling them a few more times, I think winter garden has a lighter fresh scent that grows on you. I prefer the design on noel’s red glass though, looks more “christmassy”.
Beige Chevron Lomin watch by Triwa. Swedish brand Triwa is one of my favourite brands for watches. They’ve recently introduced the chevron lomin watches for their autumn boost collection, and they are absolutely gorgeous! There’s also a blue version for those who prefer darker colours, which I also love, but I have tanned skin so I think the beige one would look better on me.
Fabric passport envelopes by Charlotte Auzou. This french designer’s etsy shop has recently caught my eye. She makes the loveliest things, and her passport envelopes are my favourite. I stopped using passport covers as some customs require you to remove them, which can be quite a hassle, but passport envelopes are more practical; you can even keep other travelling knick knacks such as flight ticket stubs in it. Did I also mention how pretty they are? I simply can’t decide which fabric design to get!
Sleigh Ride 002 Make Up Collection 2012 by Paul & Joe. There are some pretty amazing makeup collections this year for the Christmas season — Paul & Joe’s sleigh ride is one of my favourites. I’ve never used any of their makeup items, but who can resist the beautiful unicorn pouch? The cosmetics purse is the main reason I want this, although I wouldn’t mind trying the face and cheek powder out.
Andy Warhol beautiful darling set by NARS. I want this set for the same reason that I want Paul & Joe’s sleigh ride set. I’m not a fan of Andy Warhol, but the Candy Darling cosmetics bag is absolutely stunning.
Beauty Advent Calendar by YOU magazine. Can you believe I didn’t even know what an advent calendar was till last year? My housemate wanted to share her chocolate-filled one because it was already mid December — she hadn’t eaten a single chocolate from it — and I asked what an advent calendar was. My family doesn’t celebrate Christmas so I’ve never had one before. Anyway, little anecdote aside, this beauty advent calendar is such a splendid idea! One beauty product to use each day to count the days till Christmas! Their website also lists the products that are in the calendar, so you can have a look before deciding whether to get it. Some of my favourite brands are in there so I feel tempted to get one for myself!
